The Association of Consulting Engineering Companies-Prince Edward Island (ACEC-PEI) is a not-for-profit organization that has been the voice of P.E.I. consulting engineering companies since it was founded in 2007.
ACEC-PEI represents the commercial interests of businesses that provide professional engineering services to both the public and the private sector. Our members' services include planning, designing and implementing all types of engineering projects, and providing independent advice and expertise in a wide range of engineering-related fields.
ACEC-PEI represents the majority of engineers employed by engineering firms on P.E.I. including 6 member firms. ACEC-PEI's member firms directly influence virtually every aspect of quality of life in P.E.I. —economic, social and environmental. Engineering is a regulated profession; therefore every individual employed by our members is required by law to act "with fidelity to the public interest." ACEC-PEI is a member organization of the Association of Consulting Engineering Companies-Canada (ACEC) and International Federation of Consulting Engineers (FIDIC). When a company joins ACEC-PEI, it automatically joins ACEC-Canada and FIDIC.
